Kenwood DA-9010 Amplifier
The Kenwood DA-9010 integrated amplifier is a future classic, a rare piece of high-end hi-fi. This is a big, heavy, Japanese-built unit that was Kenwood’s top-of-the-line model in the late 1980s. It is a quality piece that rivals the best offerings from Technics, Pioneer and Marantz during this period.
It tips the scales at 18 kgs, and is conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Its aesthetic condition is excellent and its glossy black aluminium finish looks fantastic.
Key features include an original remote control and an in-built DAC unit featuring dual Burr-Brown PCM-58P DACs. The PCM-58P is still regarded as one of best DACs ever manufactured, finding its way into expensive Sony, Accuphase, Krell, Pioneer and Yamaha models.
